I got the Pizza Hut deal for my first ever game as well. My parents and uncle John brought me. Late 90s I believe. Last row in the 300 section but it was an amazing experience even though we lost to the Stars.
The Sabres have expended zero effort , nada, to achieve a real Power Play .
Its why its a 1st round exit, prove me wrong.

Yayyyyyaaaasss. LOVED this. More Sabres pods!! Watching Dan fan all over this episode made me so mushy and nostalgic. We were at the Ottawa fight game, I had just started dating my now husband and we went to tons of games back then. All the girls I hung out with swooned over Marty and his wolf eyes….😂 we all paid as little as possible to sit in the 300s, and we just loved every minute of it. Will never forget yelling what! After the save he made on Delmore. That save is one of the greatest saves of all time. Marty is perfect for Sabres analysis. Some bias of course but willing to point out things that need to be called out. On the ice I mean.
So it is known that only one Buffalo team can be good at any time, so suffice to say last winter when the Sabres got hot i knew the football team was cooked

I’m so old, (how old are you Bob?) so old, I’ve been a fan of the Bills since 1959 when it was announced we’d have a team in the brand new AFL. So I vividly remember Punch Seymore & Morty, spinning the wheel to select Junior Canadian Gilbert Perrault, Tim Horton and every year since. I had Monte Ledbetter’s jersey before owning jerseys was even available to the public!

Buffalo is not a hockey town. Its not covered as much as the Bills and MSG has a 2 hr show for the Bills but only a 1 hr show for Sabres. And then the Sabres show gets bumped for the Bills whenever there is big news and every Monday after a Bills game
sabres winning the stanley cup after being 14 years irrelevant would blow my mind. it would be the craziest nhl story of all time and i thought the blues championship year held the record as of now
