Like many other people here I was sad that you didn’t do the victory puppies, and of all the games that deserved them I think last night’s game was one of them.
The leafs organization simply does not know how to use and deploy there players. It seems most players that are below average on the leafs, have very good stats after the leave.
Time to get another team in the GTA. Maybe that's the only way Maple Leaf ownership will smart in the heck up. Right now it just seems like a salary stop for everyone. If you're a GM and you're looking for a job we'll pay you millions even though you suck, …. Welcome to a league that shuffles GMs and coaches more than any other sport.
They never fail to fail .. tml4life
Does "without Austin Matthews" means anything, really?
Seems like the Leafs are doing better in his absence this season.
WHO NEEDS AUSTON!!!!
5:53 I wanted them to win only because they were playing my partner’s team
If you actively cheer for losses, you are not a real fan. You acknowledge that losing would help, but you always cheer to win. Actively cheering to lose is the most negative mentality ever.
Oy! Tintin! Get out of my head!
It is so difficult hoping for a tank, but wanting them to win. I can't help it. I'd rather win and inflict untold further injury, than mail it in and get a pick.
I'd prefer if the team could literally just quit now and boycott the rest of the season. That way we could lose without having to LOSE.
I've gotta get me a Dangle jersey asap lol but hey @ least I have a Gilmour jersey still
Oy, Tintin. Of course the Leafs are better without Matthews. It has nothing to do with embarrassment.
They have freed themselves of the "get it to Matty" programming.
And other lines are raising their game to answer what they're seeing in the top line.
Matty was a lucky charm. Now he's an albatross.
Leafs win better with no mathews. So trade mathews
Oh hey, look – once again the Leafs are better without Matthews. Shocker…
Hey Steve I noticed you forgot to do victory puppies after last night’s Leafs win in Minnesota.
colin greening, last newfie to play for the leafs 🫡 (i believe)
……………………………. 1 9 6 7 !!!!!!!!!
Victory puppies?! 🐶. This team is so confusing, they made you forget 😅
Leafs fans and Wild fans have a lot in common…
Like pain and misery
Why would anyone root for the Toronto Makeme Laughs to lose or win? Either way you are going to get your heart broken. Do you really believe that they will prioritize picking a true number one Stud Defenceman even if they have the opportunity?
So… why isn’t that intensity there when the “leader” is in the line up? Maybe because he doesn’t play with intensity and the team is following their leader! Time for a leader who plays with intensity so that the team follows that style of play!
Thanks for winning Leafs! As a Bruins fan we wouldn't want you to tank so bad you get a top 5 pick. Keep it right in that 6 to 10 range for us guys
The Leafs draft using this "Best Player Available" bull shit strategy. This means their prospects are always trying to fill positions they aren't suited for. Other teams seem to draft & trade to fill rolls & positions. The have a winning team formula because they have a team identity.
Im not buying it Im thinking leafs get to the number 5 pick, bomb next season and have to give up a number one
Was watching here in New Mexico on TNT network and yeah last three games against 2 first place teams and a top 5 in league and they get 5 points out of 6. Damaging the tank boys, but God Bless him Paul Bissonette a Welland Ontario native 😊, analyst on TNT decked out in his Leafs blazer and a sporty Toronto Maple Leafs blue tie, cheering them on as always 👍👍, as myself we will go down with the ship no matter what, here in small town Lordsburg NM right on Interstate 10. Loved Welland, Ont as we used to print the horse racing bible The Daily Racing Form there from 1993 to 2008. Go Leafs Go!
The Leafs can’t even tank right 😂
