As a NJ Devils fan this is exactly what I feel. I was genuinely convinced we were going to tank to steal the draft pick from the Rangers, and then Sheldon Keefe puts Jake Allen in net and we beat the LA Kings, even with Kopitar getting his career record. And now Markström is back in net against Boston when he’s been significantly struggling After we did absolutely NOTHING at the trade deadline, even less than the Leafs. I genuinely have no idea what the Devils are doing, and I’m starting to suspect they do not either
That's like us Canucks fans if your go to suck, suck. But now since the trade deadline we've been winning games. I think we're already out of the playoffs, I don't think there is anyway we could even just barely steel a wildcard. So Canucks stop trying to win.
To be fair, the Leafs also beat Colorado this year. The Leafs seem to have a habit of winning games they should have no chance in and lose all the ones they should win. I fear for my Stars near the end of the season if they are still fighting for the Presidents at that point as they play in the 2nd last game.
The Wild have been dominating these last two games they just can’t find the back of the net 0-2 in lat 2 games with 76 combined shots on goal and a total of 4 goals
"What we suppose to win we loose, and when we are suppose to loose we win. Pick a lane." Here in Minnesota, we feel that too. We keep loosing to the low teams and winning to high ones, but not too many. We just played really bad this game. I am getting sick of it right now too.
