That 3rd period was a defensive gong show on the Leafs part, jesus, Stolarz saved their bacon.
Maypole Queefs were up 3-0, only being outshot 23-21 before Mintysoda scored their first on their 24th shot……and their second on their 25th shot……and then Mintysoda outshot them 13-4 the last 14:46 because DUHronto did try to lose…..but Stolarz wasn't given the memo, so he shut the door……and Knies ONLY THEN decided "You know what? Stolarz deserves this!" for his effort and changed the "team plan" by actually scoring the empty-netter instead of letting Mintysoda recover the puck at center, bring it back in and score the tying goal in the last few seconds……oh, Knies, you're gonna be lynched by your coach and other teammates for that!
Wild fans; another year, another meltdown. One and done again.
