Now? He just traded for an older Murphy, who was not that great to begin with, for a 2nd rd pick, 8 years after he traded Nik Hjarmlsson for a young Murphy?

Next year with Frondell and Kancerov the team sould start to flourish. But passing on Demidov and Hage were huge mistakes. This upcoming draft has better Defenseman prospects than Levshunov and Rinzel. Imagine Ried or Verhoff.
Yes, this is a good trade. He is a great player, not the right age range for the rebuild. Continuing to leave your draft thick and authentic will leave Connor Bedards 23-year plan ready to create a dynasty. First, he needs the C at training camp, but in the end, Bedard is ready for super stardom, and this years draft is key. 🔑
i don't like trading Murphy because kyle Davidson gonna use pick and it will be a bust, hes gonna use 2nd round draft pick and get a vollyball player to go with mason west
It is a okay move. But I am increasingly getting tired of just letting the kids play. Davidson needs to move some of these prospects for a good NHL talent like Brady Tackuck. A move like that is something this team needs. Paying Bedard and getting a top talent should be Davidson top concern this offseason.

I agree with the trade and your take on the rest of the season being try-outs. I just think they should have started the experimentation earlier.

Lee, the more episodes you do, it’s becoming increasingly clear you are a voice of reason.
Only thing I hate is trading to deadmonton. I hate the oilers since 2011.
