Is Jarry the worst goalie in Oilers history? Maybe soup is but this is horrendous. I think they have no choice to buy him out like soup. I too jinxed him because I said in the 1st period after the 2nd goal on your live stream that he will start making spectacular saves after the 6th goal lol

When McDavid and Draiseidl don't score the Oilers lose.The Oilers aren't going anywhere in the playoffs if they have to face Dallas,Vegas,Minnesota, or Colorado. All much better teams.I don't like Edmonton so that's no problem for me.
What a game to forget! šJarry ( SV .74) is second worst of 58 NHL goalies (he's ranked 57th since December 13)! The Oilers' power play was absolutely terrible: Draisaitl stands there lazily, waiting for a pass, not moving, and then, after receiving the puck, loses it or makes a poor pass. McDavid (-3) is nervous and losing puck, getting penalties and NO points, Hyman (- 3) waiting for the pass but not getting it. š But Matt Duchene's goal was a true work of art!

Darnell Nurse may just be the worst defenseman Iāve ever seen. The amount of times I will watch a goal go in and ask myself āwhat is he (Nurse) even defending?ā Like genuinely on the PK tonight he was more worried about defending the space behind Jarry at the back door that he didnāt bother to care for the guy RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIS FACE!
I grew up in Erie and got to watch Connor up close in junior and I remember watching Nurse at that time and thinking he was going to be an unreal NHL defenseman. Itās tragic to see how far he has fallen.

Jarry is never square to the puck or heās late in reaching which makes his rebound control garbage and his lower ice coverage is garbage heās been brutal in oilers silks I honestly donāt know if heās even had what you would call a quality start
Just watch the first goals in this game. Bouchard and Nurse are basically just standing there in the D-zone. No pressure, no body, no urgency. When thatās the level of defence in front of them, blaming only the goalie tandem doesnāt really make much sense.
I know you rarely engage with rumors Austin, but do you have any thoughts on the Oilers leadership group arguing/being frustrated with Jarry on the ice that he's not really trying/being lazy during practice?
Bring up Connor Ungar – trial by fire with nothing to lose – maybe youthful energy generates somethingā¦ā¦ Jarry in net changes the team mindset – not all Jaryās fault but his erosion has,contributed to team confidence/gameplay

I think it is not about goalie. It has to be toxic eviroment at this moment. So many goalies has been in the oilers net and every time its on them. Connor -3 this game. The same problem he had on Olympic.

I didn't see this game thankfully. Jarry is worse than Skinner. It's crazy that management thought that trade was something of a win. Man, the Oilers are so frustrating to pay attention to. I'm still rooting for them regardless.
There are some teams that brings the little extra effort against Oilers, have you noticed that some teams plays harder and put in more effort just because Oilers is on the other side?
