the only positive i can see is, teams usually scramble to make deals at the deadline because they have a chance to make the playoffs and beyond but after the season, most teams find out what they are missing and ultimately look to make bigger improvements. i'm hopeful there will be serious teams out there who fall short & look to make big moves with the rangers

As a frequent Drury critic, I have to give him credit for seeing Trocheck's value and not donating him to make some other team better. Vinny is exactly the guy you want for a rebuild.
You have the right focus – any "plan" needs to start with completely revamping (or purging) the scouting, drafting, minor league coaching and player developement parts of this organization.
Drury is the worst thing that ever happened to the Rangers
This organization is a joke you do your best to be positive at times I appreciate you and what you do but the future is bleak I’m a prove it on the ice kind of guy so all these maybe and mights suck
I enjoy what you do, truly, and as a content creator I understand you have fill time. However, why would you think Drury would ever tell us the organizational plans? I’m sure every team in every sport has discussions internally that we fans are not and should not be privy to. In one sentence you’re ripping Drury bc of his moves and words. Then you say you love the players acquired. I’m no Drury fan at all but I don’t expect him to tell me or anyone else the team’s roadmap for the future. If there even is one. Now Fox. He is getting paid a lot to play a game. Stop sulking. Put your big boy pants on and shut up play. Sorry he got butt hurt with the Olympic omission. Let’s not forget he was dinged up and only playing ok at best. All that being said, I believe this will be a long painful process. All we fans can do is wait and see how it plays out.

No they have no plan. Please stop giving Drury any coverage. He’s a Moron ! Call it what it is. When Drury gives away one of the top players in NHL ( Panarin ) for nothing , that explains it all
How do we know who Drury entertained for Trochek? My guess is he waited for a McDavid for Trochek and when that failed, he pulled back. Either way, seems next year is already looking bleak. Drury needs to finally make the Rangers better, something he has yet to do. I think he is terrible, and has pulled the Rangers from contenders to potential perennial playoff misses.
The Dolans, the Johnsons, this is what happens when real companies put their idiot kids in charge, you get failure. Why aren’t these two working in the real company?? Perhaps stupidity and lack of any real business skill?
Drury need not tell us the plan, just show progress. When no progress, we have every right to ask questions. Drury is an idiot, end of story.
And get rid of Carrick, one of the only gritty and tough players Rangers had. Good luck having your stars want to play now knowing they have no protection. This team is as bad as I have ever watched since 1972.
John Carlson was traded to the Ducks, and one of the things he liked about the team was their balance of veterans and young players. If we keep trading away our veterans we will have a team of young players with no veterans to guide them in their careers. Oh yeah, two of the players on the Ducks combined to tie the game last night with less than a minute left, some guys by the name of Trouba and Kreider. It was Kreider’s 21ST goal of the season. I guess he was the problem.

don't be surprised if Rangers draft 2 or 3 goalies this draft. BTW 1st round is very Dmen heavy, so we might draft 2 Dmen if we get unlucky. What I noticed is when drafting, unless a smaller player has incredible skill, always draft players with size.
Drury was an average player surrounded by future Hall of Framers out in Colorado. Drury was a non-factor in Colorado's success.
