Brink trade is interesting but everything else is just shake my head and Risto still a flyer . I'm losing trust in Danny and management. And why would they waiver claim a 36 year old bum.
The one position the Flyers had to move was a winger. Briere did that and got much better value than I thought you would get for Brink. With Risto….Patience
In a galaxy not too long ago, JVR was a player that needed to be traded for something/anything…..we know how that turned out. As much as it would have been nice to get good younger assets for Risto, if he's healthy, he's still a asset.
I think we weren’t going to get what we wanted for Risto. If I had the choice of Faulk or Risto I’m picking Faulk. Should have moved him the last two seasons, his stock has dropped. Not worth moving him for a bag of pucks.
Risto freaking HAD to go…. no way near enough.. D- deadline.. Danny is bad.
Brink, not a 1st round pick by us, he was a 2nd……guaranteed to win a cup now hes traded.
