I understand what Tulsky is saying, but given the moves some teams made, it looks like it's going to be a real hard road this year.
absolutely embarrassing eric. how can you possibly think this roster will win us a cup? From november to january stankoven has been a complete ghost offensively. We will not win a cup with this roster considering what the rest of the contenders have done.

Who is kidding who here? A no talent grinder like Nic Deslauriers will never see the ice in the postseason just like Lemieux in 2024. The Canes needed a Center that could provide scoring & physicality in the top six. Bottom six grinders see significantly less ice time in the the playoffs than the regular season. There's no shortage of reasons why Tulsky & Waddell make less than half of the top GM's in the league. The Canes front office should aspire to more than selling regular season tickets & then folding like a cheap suit against an Atlantic Division team in the ECF's for eight consecutive seasons. Other than the two years the Rangers eliminated the Canes the Metro has shown nothing since 2018 which was the last time a Metro team defeated an Atlantic team in the ECF's. Softies like Jarvis,, Stankoven, Blake, Ghost, & Walker will all be targeted in the playoffs. Why is Koktaniemi still here & why is Svech still the only top six forward that can supply physicality & sandpaper in the Canes line-up? Beyond lame!
I'm sorry but no. Logan Stankoven is not right for center in the playoffs. You can get away with it in the regular season. But in the playoffs Stankoven is going to get mogged down the middle. I understand not giving up Nadeau for Trocheck. But any other pick and prospect should have been offered and i want to know exactly what the price is before i give Tulsky a pass.
Why EVERY OTHER team in the Top 10 made big trades, Carolina decide to WASTE a wide-open year and all that cap $$$. This team ceiling is 2nd round maybe being swept in the ECF again.
If its same old, same old come playoff time, Tulsky’s job should be evaluated. Yes, we are just people who aren’t in the room but if the entire sport expects and knows you need to do something to win, and you do jack shit, you might not be right for the role.
Tulsky is straight up delusional to say stanks line has been our best at 5 on 5 for most of the year
They could have got Laine for on an expiring contract for next to nothing. Worse case he would be healthy scratched in the playoff but he is a big body
Delusion is all I hear, we have been good every year the last 8 in the regular season that’s not the problem. Same old song and dance every year lucky to make it to the ECF
