WHY? WHY? Would Florida want (or any team, he hasn't fit in on any team he has played for) Patrick Laine. Last 4 years he also can't stay healthy.

What I'd like to know is how is it the Buffalo Sabres haven't made the playoffs for the past 14 years, now all of a sudden this year they are playing and slotted as a cup contender, yet Montreal has been rebuilding for the past 4-5 years, made the playoffs last year and not even close to having a completely well rounded team both offensively, defensively and goaltender like Buffalo. Like how in the hell is this even possible. How does Buffalo go from dog sh*t to cup contender in just 1 year.

I don't care what happened 3 years ago against Boston, or even 1 year ago against anyone. The fact is that he's turning 38 this year and eventually time catches up with all players, usually goalies faster than anyone else. He's been consistently awful all year long and any team that thinks he's going to become Bobrovsky of the past as soon as the playoffs start is crazy.
Why would a team that is a probably a cup contender next year trade a franchise goalie? He will sign a new contract in Florida.
