Utah spending 2 extra 2nd R picks they got 3, 4 yrs ago, lol, plus their own. Castagna a Toronto boy playing NCAA, a good prospect fr 3rd round(70) in '23 I think.

Weegar fell off when he didnt make the Olympic Team.
It took an edge off his play right away. It was noticable to me.

Olli Maatta is a reliable depth defender, in 3 rd pair. No shining but takes care of his job.
And he has experience. As ypung playe he was known a good skater, but nowadays he has cooled down with age.
Conroy has 8 picks in top 68. I was hoping we could get Tij. This draft could be absolutely huge!
I agree that a Kadri trade will likely be a summer deal. I predict an 80/20 chance of Coleman getting traded by this TDL. I think the Flames could get a 5th round pick for Joel Hanley this year. I expect that Lomberg gets another 2 year deal at around the same salary.
Great job by Conroy! 2nds can be turned into a first, but I would rather pick 3 potential prospects and how do we know that Maata isn't traded to a playoff team for depth and return is a prospect? I think this was a great move.
