how were they held accountable, I didn't see any benching no bench chew outs, they fired a coach a guy who doesn't need to perform on the ice, they are all expendable if necessary.

This team is beyond disappointing this year. I mean I expected some fall off with no Mitch and the replacements not being even close as far as offensive output. Lots of issues with injuries for sure but man there’s just no heart in this team and they just don’t care to play within Berubes system.
I still think it’s the personnel…don’t think the coach changing will really do much.
Here’s hoping Treliving can make some moves focusing mostly on the awful D and adding someone to the top 6.

As a player, you look around the room and can see where you stand as a team, compared to the rest of the league. They all know it’s not enough. Not the players fault, not the coaches fault. The responsibility for bringing in good talent to build a team falls upon Treliving.
What we're seeing on the ice, I think, has a lot to do with what's going on or not going on in the dressing room, no leadership, and I don't think there has been in a long time.
Forget about whether we can win with these guys or not….it's reached a point I just want to watch a team I can root for. That comes out and tries, even if they lose. I do say 'trade em', the prospects and picks are better than this. Forget about winning the trades. ANYTHING IS BETTER THAN THIS.

Mathews or Nylander or both got to go. They are the leaders. They are the battery, the nucleus of the team. I have seen so many players come and go in 10 years on this team. How many over 100 players or more. All of them could not be that bad. This is about energy and example.. Mathews and Nylander will kill any energy young players would bring to this team. Eaton Cowan is not playing because they must not expose him to this bad character mentality of entitled millionaires. Face the reality folks 100 million dollar players being outplayed by 10 million dollars players and lower paid players, each and every night.

I would trade Willie for sure if he will waive.. As well as many others. would either sign Laughton or trade him and sign him as an FA. He's great piece for a team in rebuild and loves it here.
