In this video, I narrated the incident when Geff Thomson was angry because the fielder had dropped the catch off his bowling and then he took the matter into his own hands and got the other batsman out clean bowled. #cricket #jeffthomson #fastbowling #cricketshorts

Shoaib akthar far far faster then thomson thomson looks max 150 kmph
He was close to 170
He had a kind of slinger bowling action very unusual those days. That gave him that extra yard of pace undoubtedly. 😊 😏 🇮🇳
Typical response from Shoaib's fellow Muslims. There were no measuring devices. Shoaib was bata bowler.
Thommo wasn't aa qucik as his peak days but still proably over 140.
Hi looks like the ultimate warrior
Clearly you haven't seen Akthar bowl or you think only white skin counts for the fastest 🤦🏽♂️💩
Who was this batsman?
First of all during Jeff Thompson style the speed of recorded at the batsman a
end and unlike during Shoaib akhtar's time the speed of the ball was recorded at the bowling end so definitely Jeff Thomson is much faster
Akhtar was the fastest ever
Absolutely the fastest …
In my old days., Thommo is fastest.
He was the most fearsome bowler of his time.
Not Out!
They measured it at the batting end in those times. Think about it!
Prior to not happy Jan, it was not happy Jeff
This was near the end of 'Thommos' career. He was way faster 8 years earlier.
I'm guessing by the narrative this is for Americans who know very little about cricket. Thompson was lightning quick in the 70s at his peak.
The best way to tell who was fastest is to have a split screen and the bowlers release the ball at the same time and then pause it when the first ball gets to the batsman
Manjrekar 😂😅😂
The great Jeff Thomson. He and uber cool Dennis Lillee were and are Legends. Better days in Australia.
Lightening fast 😅😅
Not here he wasn’t, the keeper is about 15 yards back lmao.
No….. INarguably
He was frightening to watch. Let alone face.
I don't think he was faster than shoaib akhtar, seriously!!😊
I heard he had no idea where the ball was going when he bowled them.
Thommo was clocked at 160.45 kmh at a test at the WACA in 1975. Given this was the only time he was measured in a game, it's reasonable to assume that he bowled at least 1 ball faster than Akhtar's quickest (161.3). So we can confidently say that Thommo was the fastest bowler ever at his peak
Thommo says himself they use to measure the speed when the ball hits the bowler not coming out to the hand
After a bounce it slows down 15-10 km apparently and he was clocked at 160km
Perfect delivery
What surprises me is that other bowlers have not tried his slinging bowling action.
