For the last year, I’ve heard Jason Robertson’s name circulating in trade rumors. Why would the stars want to ship him out? What areas of the team would they be looking to improve with his cap space?
No way we get Robertson! They are not going to trade him unless they get a big return and I don’t see that happening for Detroit
Robertson is a pending RFA, not UFA. Dallas can qualify him (for 9M$) in the summer. They are in no rush and if he doesn’t want to re-sign with Dallas, it’s going to cost teams a lot to acquire Him.
Robertson is a pending RFA. Red Wings would have to offer sheet him and hope Dallas doesn't match. Or Yzerman and Nill could work out a trade. Or Dallas could re-sign him with the Cap going up to 104 mil. But Dallas is a Cup contender so they're not trading Robertson before the trade deadline.
