Screw these know-nothing announcers. That was about as obvious as a slewfoot can get. 0:49 And the guy asking if a slewfoot was a "steeper penalty" is ridiculous. How do these announcers not know that the only way to call a slewfoot as the penalty is one way; as a match penalty? Tripping can only be called as a Minor, Penalty Shot, or Awarded Goal (no major, no game misconduct, and no match penalty) and Slewfooting can only be called as a Match. It's advanced hockey knowledge, but these guys should know this! It's THEIR JOB TO KNOW! That's pathetic. He says know the rule. But, he doesn't know the rule. This is awful announcing!

Weak 🤣 most obvious slew foot ever
A great way to break someone's leg/ankle with a slew foot going into the boards.
It wasn’t a Slew Foot. Not even close. What a joke
"Know the rule, right?" Yes, sir, yes you should.

Hockey in general has totally forgotten what a slew foot actually is.
