Hey guys… your assessments are nonsense unless you advocate for a 5-10 yr rebuild because thats what it takes for real change. Its the reason why management is just willing to roll the dice with what they have now and pull a rabbit out of the hat like the habs did in 2021. Tinkering around with the likes of McMann, etc for 2nd rounders or unproven prospects won't make a dent. Real change happens when Rielly is gone and valuable returns for Nylander and Matthews can be made. Thats the shot, deal with it… Sammy, JD, hope you guys have fun with this Leaf gig for the next decade…and btw if the florida panthers don't get into the playoffs in the next few weeks the odds of them leaving the state will be greater than them ever seeing a cup again.

Right before the break, they played a couple of bad teams and a team with guys looking ahead give him credit for winning the games, but two were against the worst teams in the league. It’s a false sense of anything other than not good enough and old who are you trading on this team one guy maybe maybe maybe too you’re not doing enough to change this roster at trade deadline and you have so much money tied up an older players it’s just a terrible spot. These players are old to the point where they get worse not young enough where they get better as they get older.

Sell OEL, Laughton and Domi. I would keep McMann because he has not a chance to shine in this slump of an era. McMann to me is valued at a 5×5 maybe you can get him for 5×3 and bring back some young assets. Have conversations with Matthews, Nylander and Rielly at the end of the season. Transition Tavares to the 3C or wing if you can get a younger Scott Laughton. Rielly needs to go and I'm not sure you can get Mikey Anderson or Pavel Minyukov back for him. Too little too late.
NHL better be careful. Leafs pay a huge amount of the league's bills and the fans are just about ready to walk away from the club.
