   The Devils will trade Dougie Hamilton, Dawson Mercer, Shane LaChance, Topias Vilen, and 2026 and 2027 1st-rounders to the Senators for Brady Tkachuk and Tim Stutzle and trade Stefan Noesen, Brett Pesce, Seamus Casey, Jakub Malek, a 2026 5th-rounder, and a 2027 conditional 7th-rounder to the Panthers for Matthew Tkachuk and Sandis Vilmanis.

   I think people are forgetting the Avs still need cap space to reactivate Logan O'Connor. Money wise, Vinny makes more sense for the Avs but that leaves the question, do they have the assets for that move?

    Jets should trade Hellebuyck right now as they may NEVER get more for him in the future. The man stood on his head for the Team USA and he could easily be the difference for a team in the playoffs to make a serious run at a Stanley Cup. Two + 1st rounders to help with the rebuild.     Have a feeling there will be even fewer trades this year than last year's deadline. Feels like a massive sellers' market and so few centers available once again. Won't be surprised if only a couple big trades happen because buyers just won't be willing to give up the assets for a chance at playoffs. The next 2-3 games for every team should be a big indication of the direction each is willing to go.

    Weegar to Ottawa isn't that bold. The TSN radio guys made that prediction 2 weeks ago. He's from Ottawa and Yakemchuk is from Alberta. A 1-for-1 with maybe a mid-round pick tossed in makes sense. Jensen's contract is done this year, so he's getting tossed in. Zub's not going anywhere. Sens only have 2 right-handers under contract and the coaches don't seem to trust Spence.

    Grav, You mentioned Trocheck but you did not mention where he would be going. What do you think of Trocheck or Weegar to Detroit for Hamonic and Kasper. Detroit is in need of a Right shot D and a really good center so either would of them would be a good trade for both sides.

    Don't think Weegar trade would be surprising at all it's been pretty heavily rumoured that the Sens are interested and all 3 parties seem interested be tough for the Sens to match the Flames ask but I think they can get it done but don't see Zub going anywhere I think it would be Jensen going back for sure just to make the cap work no value there obviously and then the Sens would have to add Hensler/Yak and a pick probably could get it done

    I actually think a Weegar package would be centered around Halliday which would surprise a lot of people but he's got 2nd line upside not in Ottawa cause he will be blocked but with the Flames rumoured to move Coleman and Kadri Halliday could easily already get a middle 6 center spot which he rarely will get in Ottawa and hasn't at all this season but with averaging around 8 minutes most nights his production is incredibly impressive. I think it would be Halliday a 1st/2nd and then another mid prospect like a Bourgault or something. Which might seem underwhelming to a lot of people but I hope the Sens don't trade Halliday but he would flourish with more NHL minutes. Also Yakemchuk is redundant with Parekh in Calgary maybe they'd want Hensler but I think they'd want an NHL ready center personally especially with them saying they don't want a full teardown

    There’s no way the Sens are trading Senators legend Artem Zub.. Nick “Bambi on Ice Jensen” is the candidate that gets moved, Yakemchuk doesn’t see ice time in Ottawa this year..

    I know they're not mentioned but I just want the Preds to actually commit to the rebuild… O'Reilly and Stamkos' value will never be higher than it is right now, not taking advantage of it while this team is nowhere near being a cup contender would set this franchise back for several years

    You insulted the NHL with that sarcastic comment thanking us. The NHL fines the Ottawa Senators with forfeiture of their 2027 first round pick. The NHL also suspends Brad Marchand 15 games.
