With the Winnipeg Jets facing only five games before the March 6th NHL trade deadline, there is no time to dawdle.
There’s no room for a slow start; the Jets must hit the ground running as the regular season resumes this Wednesday in Vancouver against the last-place Canucks.
If we’re being realistic, the odds of this team clawing their way into the playoffs are slim — but not impossible. Ahead of the deadline, Cam and Jim wonder: is there a ‘magic pill’ out there? Could a blockbuster trade or a massive addition change this team’s fortunes and power them to glory?
What is the priority? Is it a center, a defenseman, or a winger? Who should the Jets be targeting?
The guys are joined by Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Free Press to share his insights and provide a realistic look at the final 26 games of the season.
All that and more on today’s edition of Jets at Noon.

I'd go to the white house.
Morrisey is out and there's 5 games before the deadline. If we dont sell some shit and stay put. Then fire Chevy.
29:57 Cam and Jim are already prepping their audience for 6 months from now when they’re praising Chevy for doing nothing and “shrewdly running it back” with the same lineup next season. And at this time next year, they’ll say, “No one knew running it back again was a bad idea! Chevy had to give this team another chance!”
The last segment yall had on chevy and the jets, that the only option of “running it back” proves why you 2 clowns shouldn’t be taken seriously.
If Chevy and Chipman gave Helle the greenlight I am fine if Helle accepts team accolades on a game night he won't play.
Toth trying to look hip again, toque.
Fail.
Guys, I'm sorry that's the wrong take. This isn't even political anymore. Take away the title and you're looking at a fraudster a child rapist sex trafficker money launderer murderer running a series of concentration camps where even Americans and tourists illegally reside on top of wanting to destroy our sovereignty. Why would any player especially ones in a Canadian market want to be used by a prop by someone like that and how it makes their team look? Imagine a Canadian hockey team going to visit Hitler. Same optics. It means you approve of it and yes, that's an issue
Connor Hellebuyck was just told he would be awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom at the State of the Union. You guys are supposed to be here to talk about hockey, if it bothers you so much that this is an issue, if Canada won and you would be saying the exact same thing, your making a mistake. Just don't talk about it or you'll deal with these types of comments rather than just talk about the game in the comments.
Since you did talk about it, I hope you feel bad for being upset Helly is being patriotic while receiving the highest civilian honor his country has.
Good to see people are not just focusing on one segment, and actually listening to everything Cam and Jim said during the show.
