Patrik Laine is one of the most intriguing wild cards on the Montreal Canadiens right now. Acquired in 2024, he brings elite goal-scoring upside but also some uncertainty after injuries and inconsistency. Patrik Laine has the talent to change games, but the question is whether he fits the Canadiens’ long-term vision or becomes a trade chip if things don’t click. Kent Hughes has been patient so far, sticking to a rebuild focused on youth and development. Don’t expect a panic move—but if the right opportunity comes, especially near the deadline, Hughes could make a calculated deal to accelerate progress.

No , we have hage comming and dach is back healthyb…if anything we trade our rift raft for other teams young players ..its not time to chase a cup yet
I want a number 6 dman. Have arber as our 7. Of things get out of hand in a playoff series he can step in. But we need someone Marty can trust as our bottom pair d
Stay the course ! We have plenty in the system, be patient. Home grown talent is the key to success long term
All we need is a 3C or 1RW. Maybe one of Bolduc, texier, dach or newhook take that 1RW so I’m not too worried but if you add a Ryan o Reilly to play with a mix of those players you’re Fkn cooking. Keep the top two lines basically the same and you add some serious scoring depth to the third. Going into the playoffs with Evan’s and danault on your bottom six ain’t good enough imo. Yes some might think ROR is a #2 not #3 but I think those two lines will be deployed based on how they are playing any given night.
