  1. Glad Olympics are finally over and we can get back to Habs hockey and the playoff push

  2. They should of sent Josh Anderson to the Olympics he owns Hellebuck he had his only hat trick on Helle. Would of been better than Marchand who made a turtle look fast.

  3. Pickford has the momentum over reinbacher right now…. I think we are hopeful to see both get a shot at a right d spot as early as next year..

  4. Olympics…Glad it is over. I think these international things are awful for US-Canada relations right now. I am an American, and I hate that we won because it means the the Tkachuks will probably go to the white house and kiss Trump's ass in front of the world. Plus I hate backward-ass confederate state music like "Freebird" and any excuse not to hear it is welcome. I love Canada (I went to McGill), but I didn't want them to win either because of all the anti-US sentiment they have, thinking every American likes Trump or something. I was rooting for Slaf-Vakia: at least they aren't being assholes.

Trade, just say no…Nothing we do will bring us the Cup this year, but we have everything we need to make a super-solid run in 2027-2028 if we don't trade it away. I hope we wait til summer before we make our next move.

Lavel Rocket report (BONUS SEGMENT)…I went and saw both games in Utica this weekend. Fowler was not on the trip to NY so I didn't see him this time, but I finally got to see Reinbacher. Plus I got to see some of my favs like Florian and Engstrom and of course, Sammy Blais! 🙂 Quiite a few Habs fabs there, and even got an "Ole" going after the Friday game. Bad discipline was the problem Sunday: the really dominated the second period until Simoneau lost his mind (kind of embarrassing, almost as bad as watching Tom Wilson in the Olympics).

Canadiens last push…Can't wait for it! I had very little interest in Olympics. Cannot wait to see my fav players like Demidov and Hutson and Slaf again!!! WOOOOH!

  5. "If the move is right …." Though I think there will be some moves, I would be surprised if HuGo makes a big move. Getting rid of Laine would appear to be the Canadiens' priority. But other than that, I expect more tinkering than any major trades. Why is everyone seemingly so eager or at least willing to trade Adam Engstrom? It seems to me that he has more upside than either Struble or Xhekaj and, eventually, Carrier. The fact that he can play both sides just makes him that much more valuable.

There is simply no reason for Montreal to be rushing into trades. HuGo has a long-term plan, and I just don't see any reason to stray from that. The number of promising prospects in the organization, who have yet to play in the NHL, suggests to me that management will be patient in evaluating development and, in doing so, determining who the best fits are and what needs could be fulfilled through trades.

  6. Slav is great and driving our young gun line with 91 & 93. With 77 jelling, Habs don't need to trade for top 6 ch
The 3rd line needs to get sorted out with 15 slotted in on the wing.
    72 is a keeper.
    They have a lot of folks looking for a chair… 45, 47, 56, 62, 64, 76, 85, 90, but with Laine traded.

  7. Some incredible players who really showed what they could do at the Olympics… really looking forward to see how the team develops.

  8. WHL dont mean much, mckenna was burning the league at 16yo, pickford is 19. zharovsky playing with adults

  9. Josh is wayyy overdue for a vaca😂 DR calling ,, get us that Jesssyboy solo hype vid we waiting for ehhhh❤💪💪LFG

  10. Xhekaj hardest shot for the Habs by a landslide. Either Robidas starts to play him 14 minutes a game or you ship him out and allow him to blossom somewhere else. Kent and Jeff need to make a decision. It’s selfish of them to keep him and eventually destroy such a promising young player. You are not winning the cup this Year that’s the reality. Develop your youth by playing them.
