  1. I know the European countries tend to focus more on skill rather than the physical play, but that's what tends to cost them the games is the physical play (body checking). I'm Canadian but I noticed over the years that Canada/US always seem to overpower them with their rough game. I played hockey until 'Midget' (under 18) and we're taught as soon as we can skate to play rough. The European teams have tons of skill but they need to play a rougher game.

  2. man they have to learn to lose with honour and bite their tongue before 'questionable penalty' call, absolutely nothing questionable about it, was smack in front of the cameras and refs, a high stick is a high stick. Could easily say the same about Bennett's Goaltender interference call early in the game, super soft got pushed in by D man, but that's just hockey, calls go both ways, soft or not, regardless of the clock. Can't rely on ref calls to win a game, can't park the bus for 40 minutes, absolute waste of talent this Finnish coach is weak sauce not at all taking advantage of the offensive skill the Finns have, should be looking to your coach, not the refs.
