Which Flames player do you think is most likely to be traded first and why?
Coleman,… someone will offer something too good to refuse. Seems like a decent playoff push guy that won't upset chemistry of a contender
Why would you hold onto Coleman he is at his highest value. It makes 0 sense to hold on and give him the same advantage all other players have in their final year.
Gotta confess you have me baffled because you'd prefer to keep Coleman, Wieger and Whitecloud. Are you trying to rebuild or not. Seems like you want to stay in the middle. Now is the time to go for it. I'd be ok with keeping Whitecloud because he is only 29 but I'd also trade Lomberg and ask Backlund if he wants to go to a contender. We have about 8 rookies we need to make room for in the next 2 years.
Kadri needs to be 1st choice to trade the flames only have 1 retention spot left this year. Kadri is open to a trade also as the team loses more he wears his heart on his sleeve that might have a negative influence on some young guys.
Get a first for each kardi and Coleman and run. Flames are not close and make the picks count

Keep Coleman and Whitecloud. Move kadri and Weegar.
Nothing against either player, but you would move two long term contracts and keep the short term for flexibility.
So pops misses most of season with 5th concussion? Plays 5 or 6 games and off to try and get 6th? No sense. BTW don't forget other ex flame on Slovakia- Adam Ruzicka.
