I'm getting tired of seeing Mike Sullivan chewing gum on the bench.
Really like hallander and his game. We may need him and his ability to center if sid remains out any length of time. Hope he gets up to speed quickly and has a prosperous hockey future.
I'm just gonna say it, I'm anti NHLers in the olympics. Sid, Victor Hedman, and Kevin Fiala, three very important players for their respective teams, all got injured in the olympics. Thing is I'd rather watch Sid take the Penguins into the playoffs than watch him play a few games for team Canada, and now the former might not happen because he got hurt doing the latter.
Canada might be lost without the captain that brought them to this point….🐾
Hellebuyck has been best goaltender in the olympics by far. 3 goals against in 3 starts. I will say markstrom was really good today as well. Classic goaltending duel. Glad usa won. Its a shame sid got injured. Injuries happen. Im not one to complain that he got injured in the olympics. The man loves playing for his country just as much if not more then the penguins. Just hoping its not serious and he can play in gold medal game if canada makes it or be back ready next thursday.
The refs should have notice that Czechia had 6 players on the ice and all 6 players stayed to celebrate that goal. But it is what it is and I hope Sid is back soon. But when Sid leaves the ice it isn’t good 🙁

Of course. NHL players going to the Olympics is stupid a any way. The Olympics are simply not an event for multi millionaire pro athletes, and they should never be allowed in it regardless of how bad they'd like to. Its so lame watching a few NHL all star teams just run through everyone. Then there's the fact of.how dumbfounding it is that owners are ok with their integral assets doing this right in the middle of the season. I've always hated it and I'm not surprised Sid got hurt. Figures.
