  1. PSA for anyone new to neck training. Start out easy if you plan on getting your head off the pillow the next day

  2. You should start with just your head and no additional weight. Work up to sets of 20 with no weights and do that for a few months before adding any weight.
    Twinging your neck is absolutely terrible.

  3. U need to start really light. Neck is a very small untrained muscul in general. If u go heavy. Just cuz u can u about to have neck pain for the next 2 months. TAKE IT EZZ

  4. This is interesting, because I've only been using the second exercise and got some decent gains but I'm still not too happy with the front of my neck. Now I know why, so thanks! Also, I thought I was pretty good using 15-20 pounds, but you're on a whole other level man! Now I know it can be done safely though, so I'll build up to it 😌

  5. This idiot doesn't even realize how gravity works. When the plate is vertical, the neck isn't moving anything. The hands are.

  6. You can do these exercises over the edge of your bed too. Just leave your head hanging over the edge and treat your neck like a bicep curl lol

  7. With the back of the neck extensions, my chest and core gets the most tension and pump due to which i cant feel any significant tension in my neck. So i would love it if you could help me with that

  8. Progression guys. Start from level 1 and slow progress. Don't jump to 45s after watching a video

  9. I completely got rid of my neck tension and tension headaches from desk work by doing the first exercise everytime I worked out.

  10. I started with double plate flexion. Didnt even have to make it to extension. Broke my neck but came back 5x thicker.
