  1. Hey DK. I don’t want to get ahead of myself, but every Stanley Cup winner has had an unexpected hero. Be it Talbot, Shultz or heck, Geno against the ‘Cains…

If we win the cup this year, who’s the guy? Who’s that guy who rises above and takes over?

  2. DK, just wanted your quick insight… Yesterday (Tuesday), I noticed multiple "insiders" in Toronto reporting that Dubas is in on the possibility of attempting to trade for Morgan Reily to help the D core. "Eklund" was the writers tag, and he insisted that Pittsburgh was willing send Kindel and a 2nd round pick in exchange which I cant even begin to imagine. I would see Kindel as 1 of the "untouchable" players on the roster and a large part of the future of the team. Do you see any possibility at all where Dubas would be willing to sell what could be a large part of the future to attempt to win now? I totally dismissed this trade proposal as a Leaf fan just wishing because they need more depth at center, but the longer I think about it, the more its been bothering me.

    Thanks DK!

  3. Robertson so good but would rather hold onto our 1st round draft picks. We have them all we should go all in.

  4. I think the team needs to rotate a few players during that stretch to get some other guys some rest. This is going to be a crazy schedule and if we do well we will also need to continue the winning towards and into the playoffs. This is where you have to give rutger, a.hayes, broz, graves even a game or two to help lighten the load on our best players.

  5. Rakell or Mantha plus one of the kids ( the likes of Koivunen, Hayes, McGroarty, etc) if dubas wants to swing for the fences.

  6. Hockey fans like mock trades the way football fans like mock drafts. Super Bowl wasnt even over for an hour and the sports app I use for news sent me a notification that theyve uploaded a new mock draft.

  7. Loving the good on good Olympics but I'm ready for the Pens to return! I'm not sure how big Dubas will swing for RHD (CGY-Anderson?) but I know damn well I trust him to make a good deal. Would love a guy who can eat minutes and take the load off 58/65

  8. I have hope… if Sid comes home hot. The Raks-Sid-Rusty line hasn’t hurt us, but more points from all three would be helpful.

  9. DK – If you want a good laugh, you should head on over the hockeybuzz. If you're not familiar it's a "hockey site" that pedals rumors. Well, this guy is saying the Pens are offering Kindel up for Morgan Rielly. Amazing that sites like this can survive for so long.

  10. I know you can't healthy scratch the top guys. Not the hockey way. You CAN roll 4 lines and 3 pairs to limit the minutes the top guys play. That will be more strain on the depth guys sure, but THOSE guys you CAN rotate in and out of the lineup to take advantage of organizational depth.

  11. Thank you DK. Getting back on track, ice. We have seen really great play to this point. Keep that pace and keep that lead. So players will need rest and this is heading into the finish line. Great show DK

  12. DK, what kind of wrench does Hallander throw into the roster equation? He was a very strong addition to the team a few months ago. We’ve been talking about McGroarty and Avery Hayes but where does Hallander fit now?

  13. Crosby just went off injured. Not expected to return. Didn't look good. Limped down the hallway to the locker room
