I think Eiserman is playing injured. He started the season like he did last year, but after going down with the injury and coming back, he hasn't been the same.

What's the deal with all the young prospects named Cole? There were two on the junior USA team, and one on the team Canada. The only Cole I know was Cole Porter. So when Cole Eiserman gets called for a penalty, what's he going to say: "Ain't Misbehaving"
They should just go back to having 18-21 kids play in the Olympics

cole is so overrated, I said this over a year ago, he is a one- dimensional player, a sniper is someone who could score but is also accurate. 19 teams passed on him. They did not think he was a player worth drafting, and they were right. This is why the islanders will never win a cup again, every player they draft they think will be heading to stardom, 43 years and counting with no cup. Advice for you 12 year old's who are islander fans because of your parents, stay away, this is a bad franchise, who forgot how to win. right now we have about 14 players 30 and over on this team, way too old. Islanders play in slow motion compared to the Olympic teams. hockey is a fast pace game, the Islanders are too old and slow.
no one should compare eiserman to bossy who was a prolific scorer before he was drafted. i said it many times before the islanders will not be able to take the next step and compete for a stanley cup without proven offensive scorers..

-all eiserman speculation at this point. if/when eiserman goes pro we can talk then. could de-committ from bu after this season and go to ahl or isles for a taste of pro hockey. just remember dude couldn't light it up at wjc's against 18 year olds. and no 22 comparisons. i know al said he could teach 22 defense yet 22 was a freak of nature. multi-dimensional generational g scorer who had speed to go with his skill, g scoring ability. just had a knack to score g's. eiserman may never taste 22 g's at nhl level at this point let alone be anything like 22. and isles couldn't find a pure g scorer for the future even if he dropped into their laps. total b00b organization when it comes to finding g scorers. since isles wont be anywhere near the top of the draft hope n. klepov is there to grab with one of those two firsts. draft riser has g scoring ability and could win ohl scoring title as a rookie. something pj boy, stamkos, or mcd didn't do. maybe darche sees a little kuch in klepov also #86?

-14 isn't getting a lot of minutes playing on line with hagel for one when canada has top 2 lines of mak, mcd, celebrini and sid with marner, stone getting all of those top six minutes.
My fear is that Cole Eiserman is Whalstrom 2.0
