  1. Funny ending, the winning team leading by 2 pulles the goalie in the last minute, the losing team celebrating.

  2. To be fair Sweden and Finland they only have the ghost of rantanen and markstrom. I mean aho still good player could make a good 3rd or 4rth linier in NHL or rotational player. But both nations have quite the potential to even establish more of their roaster in the bottom 6 and make the NHL😅

  3. Slaf knows this is most likely his only chance to play for Slovakia in the next four years (assuming MTL will consistently have a strong post season). You can feel his hunger for success. AHOJ.

  4. it is a huge suprise just a fun fact, its not the first time slovakia is first in a group with nhlers ,Slovakia already won an olympic group in 2006 beating sweden in last round of group

  5. It’s not a legit competition without Russia, so tired of the athletes paying the price for bs politics.

  6. Im from Slovakia and I've been watching your videos for a few months now, and I love how passionate you are about Slovakia in this tournament. And I get it 100% because, even though you aren't from there, as a Habs fans you've experienced what it's like to be an underdog… and how good it feels to prove everyone wrong by having a great season this year. It’s similar to what Slovakia did, since no one expected them to finish first in the Group of Death😃

  7. You are saying "we have never seen this before". Well you should check the 2006 Olympics group results, and that group was even harder. Nice video but do not make it sound like this is the first time Slovakia is having a competitive team. 2006 roster = 18 NHL players, 2010 roster 15 NHL players. 2 hall of famers and shit ton of quality players.

  8. Hage is STILL using the same shootout move despite 2 fails at the WJC. He needs to get at LEAST 2 more moves. Remember Suzuki's flip shootout goal? Nowhere to be fund now because they all know…

  9. Slaf is currently 7 (with 10) on the all time list for goals at the Olympics at 21. Selanne is on top with 17. By the time Slaf retires, he will be the all time leader for Olympic goals.

  10. Incredible play by Slovakia 😂😂
    They lost 5:3😂😂😂
    Not so Incredible!
They made it to next round just about everybody made it!!!😂😂

  11. Ahoj! Being down by three and getting one back was never celebrated more 😁 Now we need to avoid 2006 Olympics scenario (we won the group unbeaten but lost quarters). Slovenskooooo 🇸🇰🇸🇰🇸🇰

  12. slaf is unbelievable… imagine at 25, how he will dominate… we dont here the slaf haters anymore hahahaha
