I'm kinda torn on trade deadline. I don't want to mess with chemistry the team currently has, and certainly not for a rental. But I would be excited to see them go after Shane Wright. Fits the rebuild and skilled position.
They just let Larson go. Why not trade him for something,he’s a good goalie!v
Something that sticks out to me is just the fire Malkin is playing with this season. I can't remember him playing like this last year. I think he sees the end of his career and because of that he is giving it everything he has every time he touches the ice. Depending on role/roster/and money I absolutely think he should get one more year if only for a farewell tour.
Mantha is probably being joined by Brazeau on that 20 goal UFA list.
