Byfield scores while holding two sticks – Tough Call Review
Quinton Byfield was able to hold off a defender while scoring a goal. As in, he was holding both his own stick and the stick of the defender as he scored.
I'm not sure Wright makes play on this even with his stick. Arguably the nicest individual effort goal, sad it's getting outshined by the (obvious) missed penalty
NHL refs are getting worse each and every year. Should watch the highlights from EDM vs STL and how the refs "missed" that holding that led to the first goal.
So coaches can challenge for a offside that happenned 2 minutes ago, for less than an inch, but obvious penalty like this cannot overturn on ice decision? For a billion dollars company, thats kinda shameful.. How would anyone feel if this was the stanley cup goal. Wth

Is holding the stick still a penalty?
