Abysmal game like this makes you wonder how crucial that extra point from Tampa would have been.

They looked like Sabres of November 2025. Just one game but still disappointing. Give Pitt credit, were patient and took advantage of mistakes.
The tuch curse continues
It looked like a team that traveled to play the 2x defending Cup winners, the best team in NHL, and then a team they always lose to…in a very short time window. It’s almost as if they’re human and not robots.
Losing to the Pittsburgh Pigeons was disappointing, that was a measuring stick defeat.
Playing well and close vs teams like Montreal, Florida and Tampa Bay was uplifting than allowing Pittsburgh to bully them is demoralizing.
