What an embarrassment – League Wide Sentiment that Drury and the NYR were Fleeced. Sure, Panarin had a NY contract that provided few options but to have announced the non-resigning? To have gifted that contract to start? Pathetic – from Dolan to Drury on down. Such a poor display of incompetent General Management all the way through. And Sullivan signed up for this?? I hope he got all the MSGS shares he asked for. At this point, who gives a shit about what this coach or the team has to say.

The season had been lost and now Bread is gone. Benching Othmann, Perrault, Morrow, Berard, or any combo of those should be a federal offense! Sullivan starting to get on my nerves already.

The fact remains that Drury failed to recieve a 1st rd pick. Yes, Panarin had all the leverage here, but to get back a B level prospect and 2 mid round picks is terrible On top of that, the Rangers retained 50% and to make matters worse, he immediately signed a 2 year extension. What happened to the news earlier in the year where reports came out he would not take less money??? Yet, he just took less money. Drury panicked, and you got this return. In regards to Liam Greentree, don't know much about him besides the fact he was taken late in 1st rd of the 2024 NHL draft and that he is a big kid, but skating is an issue. Honestly, don't have faith Rangers are going to develop this kid properly, and in about 4 or 5 years will be most likely traded. To me, this is just yet another of many fails for Chris Drury. If Chris Drury decides to trade Trocheck or Schneider, he Needs to hit a Grandslam of a haul in return for either 2 players. If not, I really do wonder if Dolan changes his stance or Drurys job security.
Two worst seasons I can recall. This trade was handled so poorly. Stop makes excuses for Drury. He f'd this up from the beginning. Horrible return.
