Edmonton’s third line might be the difference between a Stanley Cup parade and another early exit.
When the top six “washes out” in the playoffs, can the Oilers’ depth actually score enough to win?
In this Short, we break down the burning question: is this third line good enough to win the Cup?

The team is so checked out knowing they will slide into the playoffs anyway.
For the playoffs, you absolutely need a 3C and a top 4 D.
The Edmonton Oilers have lost 3 straight games being outscored 16-8. They don't have a good enough 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th line. Nor a starting goalie.
They need a goaltender. Jarry is not the answer
Knoblauch seems desperate …not sure if the team is responding to him anymore
I know how. Trade nurse and replace him with literally any defenseman under $3mill/ year and then spend the extra $6m on the 3rd line.
mcdavid , Nuge should always be together on a line. Nuge always mcdavid to play more offensively free, Nuge is responsible everywhere.
If Nuge is on the 3rd line then who is on line 1 to replace him?
