You can tell the coaches pulled Jarry aside after that last interview where he called out the defense. The way he’s talking now… yeah, they definitely had a chat. Poor guy. THIS TEAM’S DEFENSE IS A DISASTER, and he’s stuck wearing it every night. He can’t save this team on his own. No goalie could.
Jarry is a good goalie, but, not getting the full support a goalie needs at times especially 5 on 5. Way I see it the whole team has been putting to much on offensive and not enough on defence.
Bowman should have been strung up at the beginning of the season when he let Holloway and Broberg go, he’s single handedly ripped our winning team apart
Everything is bad right now and it isn't all his fault but I like that he's taking accountability in this interview. The past two years the Oilers actually had some of the best defence in the league (it's true according to stats contrary to what many said at the time) but they still managed to lose alot of games due to bad goaltending. This season that's not the case though. We've had shaky goldtending AND bad defence. Time to take a hard look in the mirror and make some real changes – not just the good ol' Knoblauch lineblender… And in other news…. the bottom 6…………

Drill this in your dumb head, doesn't matter who the goalie is. Any goalie coming to Edmonton see their stats drop severely. That's not a goalie issue, its a whole team/coaching staff issue.
