Jack Hughes will not be playing in tomorrow night’s game against the New York Islanders.
He played a few minutes in the Nashville game and then sat out for both the Ottawa Senators and Columbus Blue Jackets game.
He is headed to Milan, Italy to play for Team USA in the 2026 Olympics in a matter of days.
Lots of NJ Devils fans are pretty upset by this.
General Manager Tom Fitzgerald apparently awoke from his slumber and made a trade today, sending Thomas Bordeleau and a 4th Round Pick to the St. Louis Blues in exchange for Nick Bjugstad.
