Mikael Samuelsson is en fuego!
I can't stay mad at Krebs. Somebody on the ice should have told him he's last man back and don't let anyone get behind him. On the other hand we had chances to win that game and couldn't. But we should not be hanging our heads. The team should feel sad just for one night then move on we have bigger fish to fry. Pittsburgh is hot and we must play to win that game to go into the break on a good note. Also we play Tampa a few more times so we still can settle the score with Kulich and Norris and Kesselring coming back.
Does Kekalainen go out and get some veteran leadership like winger Blake Coleman from Calgary who won 2 Stanley Cups with Tampa. He is 34 and under contract until the end of next season. D wise are you comfortable going with Metsa and Bryson as 7th and 8th D men or do you go out and get a veteran like Luke Schenn? IMO I say go get Coleman and im good with the D if Timmins and Kesselring are healthy. Thanks for the video guys.
I say MOVE NORRIS if you can. I have zero confidence he could HOLD UP (health-wise) is a playoff series. Is there any market for him at his current salary???? I like him so much, be let's be realistic here. Ottawa tried to be patient and they finally had enough!
I pray Benson didn't tear a labrum!
I can’t see another team looking at Norris as a key part of a trade. Just too many years of injuries.
On Kadri.. isn’t he the one who was here for Juniors and complained that the city was boring. If I’m remembering that right- hard pass
Lindy kept out Norris and Kesselring for the break and that was costly considering Benson was out too. Could have made a difference and the Rochester babies got pushed around and were ineffective
From Krebs angle it looked like Dahlin had stolen the puck from Kootchie Koo and he would have been all alone for a pass. Unfortunate it wasn’t as appeared
Love the trade speculation, great analysis. Would only add that some of these deals might make more sense to return to in the offseason, less urgency, lower cost.
Would not do anything beyond a rental as we cannot afford our current team next season if those out of contract we need to keep are paid what they deserve. The Skinner buyout is a major problem for 26/27.
Will you be able to do a Prospects Avenue show during the Olympic break? Particularly interested in our NCAA Dmen and whether they project as future NHLers, Prokhorov's disappearance in Dinamo-Shinnik after a great start and whether Rucinski & Novotny's great stats in the USHL equate to NHL upside?
