montreal may have to eat some of the contract and sweeten it with a draft pick, this guy has such a bad reputation now for lazy play that no team will take a chance, but then again montreal did…
Boeser for Laine and Beck
Hey Lego I Really like what you doiing just one thing I think Everybody us wrong for Laine we have given Him far less chances than Dach and poeple still throws him under the bus and Yall forgething Newhook coming back too and was playing good alongside Laine
I would see if Toronto wants to trade Carlo for Laine. IMO.
It’s hard to feel bad for him. If he could give at least 90% effort most games he’d be fine. All the tools, but doesn’t like to use them. He gets out what he puts in
Laine for Huberdeau
feel bad but he's got no effort and doesn't fit with his lack of effort.
Laine for a Montreal Smoked Meat Sandwich and we'll call it even. He'd be perfect on Toronto, and I bet it would light a fire under him long enough to roast a hot dog.
kyllä Laineen kannattais tehä ens kesänä tosi halpa 2 vuoden sopimus Florida panthersiin, löytäisi hyvän peli ilon barkovin tai lundellin rinnalla
No worries, his contract ends this season. Habs won’t resign him, good rental for a Cup contender at trading deadline for a pick.?
someone will get hurt, he will have a last try imho
He’s going to be hard to move for anything substantial. Maybe as part of a package there could be a worthwhile return. He’s got a phenomenal shot but nothing else is NHL caliber.
Habs don’t need Laine no more
fans honestly ha little to no clue on actually projecting nhl talent. In regards to Oliver Kapenen, without a doubt the kid is projecting as a top 6 Ctr.The only matrix hes projecting under top 6 is faceoff won. Fans need to realize this kid is just a rookie in the league. How many rookies surpass 20 goals at any position let alone Ctr? His defensive skill is at a 10 yr veteran. Kills penalties and plays PP unit 2. A great shot. Very good playmaker and one of those players with a high hockey IQ. If Kapenen ends up being a 3rd line Ctr then he is playing on a stacked highly skilled team
I stopped feeling bad a long time ago. He moves at half the speed of every other player on the ice and he looks lost and completely spaced out most of the time. I'm not trying to be a jerk, but I think his mental health is even worse than his physical health and we just don't need him on our team. If we can get literally anything for him at the deadline we should take it.
He just has to look at his bank account and he will snap right out of his funk
He's in his final year he's got a new contract coming up I don't see him or anybody offer me any big bucks he's going to have to take a huge discount. The other question is who's going to give him a second chance it will be hard to move him but they're going to have to move him.
Patrick at 8,7 and more this season cannot complain he has earned at the least 63 million dollars more than most Canadiens middle class will never make in a life time. he just does not fit in the new team Habs are building. young and fast.
Wasted talent…..
The only drawback to getting rid of him is that contract but at least it's over this year. He's unneeded extra weight, we have more than enough talent without him. Trade him and Monty for a top or solid goaltender to give Dobes a partner or solid backup!
i dont think hes moving before the olympics freeze. If hes traded it wolud be at the deadline. personnally i dont want him traded for a couple of picks, habs have enough picks and a lot of prospects, if we trade him it would be in a package to bring a winger for the first line or a 2c ideally
