yes. why wouldn't trade a guy who could bring back better value in prospects and picks? Carrick is an engineroom guy that real contenders would want for all these reasons. he is wasted in NYR
I understand giving the guy a chance to win but this is exactly the type of guy the rangers need more of so I wouldn’t mind keeping him Everyone else can go
