the refs made a horrific call against detroit in the game vs carolina with 4:45 left in the 3rd. Only reason that game went to OT anyway. That building was furious and rightfully so, so I'm not surprised they let that 1 go on a diving Ghostisbehere
I'm confident the DET/CAR non-call was because the ref thought Ghost dove and wanted to punish him. He was looking RIGHT AT THE PLAY.
I don't blame Boston for not doing it without an extension. Same goes for Detroit. Also if I'm Yzerman I'm not trading Danielson for Andersson? If I'm giving up Danielson only a few years into his pro career it's for a bigger game changer than Andersson.

I feel like the league has changed so much that no one is privy to info anymore. When I listen to Elliotte talk now, he either is speculating or has no idea whereas back in the day he was always in the know

Also Elliotte says he doesnt want more review but I want more because teams get screwed by the stuff that is missed and then we spend 15 minutes reviewing things that should take 30 seconds. The problem is we can't trust the "humans" to get it right on the field so we need to take their autonomy away especially when they are dead wrong. The Bills got absolutely hosed for the exact same thing that happened in the Rams game and in the Rams game they got it right. To me getting the call right is important in the regular season but especially in the playoffs.
So let people challenge for pass interference, let people challenge for things that should be penalties. This is the only way to hold the league and its refs accountable
