No Goalie Fights — Just Unreal Saves | NHL Week 15 Best Stops

No Goalie Fights — Just Unreal Saves | NHL Week 15 Best Stops

Week 15 was packed with save-of-the-year candidates, chaotic scrambles, and a spotlight moment for one of the NHL’s biggest goaltending stars.

Washington’s Logan Thompson showed incredible reflexes and recovery, scrambling back into position to make a huge pad save against Montreal. In Vancouver, Kevin Lankinen just got the blocker down in time to keep an Ottawa chance from crossing the goal line, while Detroit’s Cam Talbot calmly snagged a glove save on Boston’s Morgan Geekie.

Buffalo’s Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen slid across to rob Nikita Grebenkin, and in Vegas, Adin Hill delivered a save-of-the-season candidate — flipping backward and making the stop while facing the wrong way on Bobby McMann.

Florida’s Sergei Bobrovsky had a massive week, starting with a breakaway save on Jordan Staal using the toe of his skate, then flashing the glove again later with a lunging stop on Tyler Toffoli. With Bobrovsky going viral for the league’s first goalie fight in years, this week was all about goaltenders doing what they do best — making saves.

Carolina’s Brandon Bussi was sensational all week, beginning with an absolute beauty off the inside of the blocker, then later delivering one of the most stunning saves of the season — fooling the announcer and robbing a Buffalo 2-on-0 that looked like a sure Tage Thompson goal. Bussi capped it off with a chaotic end-of-game sequence to secure the win.

Seattle’s Philipp Grubauer went full extension to deny Michael Carcone, Elvis Merzļikins stopped three shots in succession against Pittsburgh, and at the other end Arturs Silovs shut the door with a stretched-out save on Charlie Coyle. In Chicago, Connor Hellebuyck delivered a highlight-reel diving glove save on Connor Bedard to round out an unforgettable week.

  1. No goalie fights — just ridiculous saves 🧤
Which stop gets your vote this week — Hill’s backwards save, Bussi’s 2-on-0 robbery, or something else?

  2. not me reading "15 best stops" and thinking there was a short list of 15 saves like an idiot

  3. "No Goalie Fights" is NOT a Selling Point. You guys are a joke NHL, afraid to post the fights and hits we all want. Wheres the "every hit this week" videos, or Fights of the week? I see goals and saves, hits of the month, but its like you hide half the solid hits in the league cause youre afraid to acknowledge that the true fans love the chaos.
