What was that OT selection? I’m certainly not a coach, but Lake and Brandon starting in overtime??? I’m a big fan of Irwin and someone who doesn’t like Lee’s defensive ability, but I’d rather have him out there.
I’d risk the tired guys like Conway, JJ, Lee, Roach, Kawaguchi, Gaudet, Guay, Goodwin. Any of those and maybe we would’ve stood a chance.
Really feeling the loss of Eriksson, and Twarynski is a big miss. The D looked sloppy without Hanson. It’s felt very steady recently. Desperately need bodies back and some reinforcements.
Credit to Coventry, they were so enjoyable to watch and deserved to win that in regulation. Looks like we might be out of the cup… 😬
