Thursday’s episode begins with a recap of the Chicago Blackhawks’ 7-3 win over the St. Louis Blues, extending their winning streak to four games and remaining undefeated in 2026. Host Jack Bushman breaks down a complete team win, with 13 different players recording at least one point, and the special teams units coming up clutch after a shaky start. Then, Bushman breaks down the Blackhawks trading goaltender Laurent Brossoit and defenseman Nolan Allan to the San Jose Sharks for Ryan Ellis, Jake Furlong, and a fourth-round pick. The episode concludes with Connor Bedard participating in the morning skate on Wednesday and potentially returning this weekend. All that and more on Locked On Blackhawks. QUESTION OF THE DAY — What Do YOU Think of The Trade Between The Blackhawks & Sharks?
The Hawks just gifted the Sharks a core defenseman for the next decade.
Nolan Allen was never going to crack the Hawks defensive line up,
He was a Bowman Pick, who was he going to displace? Del Mastro?
These whiners are going to be in for a shock, the Hawks have a lot of young talent that can play in the NHL but won’t be able to push anyone in the big club out.
So you can’t leave good players in Rockford, it’s not fair to them.
Good overview, Jack!
Dumping Allen for nothing is crazy and disgusting
Trade makes sense clears up roster space for frondell maybe kansterov and I'm sure more trades coming there's a lot jam of prospects and more coming up next year need to start making room now I Believe In KD
Nolan Allen isn’t going to crack this NHL roster. He was given a long look at NHL level last year. Neither did Reichel. Both have graciously been given opportunities elsewhere thanks to GMKD. Same thing may likely happen with Slaggert, as Moore replaces him and Dach as Spellacy replaces him in the near future. Other teams will not trade hawks much for 4A guys. Not all prospects are going to pan out. Ludwinski, Hayes, Misiak are higher picks that just may not make it. Luckily BH have plenty more prospects right behind guys like Allen that will try to make and IMPROVE the roster into hopefully an NHL powerhouse of All Stars and future Stanley Cups. You don’t do this by holding onto fringe NHL/AHL talents..
RIP Glenn Hall, Mr. Goalie.
