The Minton/Carlo deal could possibly have a added twist of the nipple for Toronto. If Ottawa ends with the 5th spot in the lottery and Toronto in 6th, since this is the year of Ottawa forfeiting their 1st round pick, Toronto would pick 5th in this draft. Boston will keep the pick because Toronto will still be considered in that 6th spot.

Loved Potsy sticking up for himself at the end of the game against Barkey. Looked like he was about to drop them. That's what we needed to see from the kid, the whole "he's too soft" narrative being washed out by tenacity. Love to see it.

It was instant chemistry between Minten, Mittelstadt and Arvidsson. I know it's just one game but it was very encouraging watching him centering this 2nd line. Once Lindholm is back, what would you do, who would center the 3rd line in case last night's performance repeats in the next couple of games?

Minten is such a great addition it doesn’t seem real that we also got a first with it for Carlo. I like Carlo but he has really bad streaks and injury history. What a trade. Sweeney killed at the deadline last year

I totally agree that the FLA game is the more important of the last 2 before break. Going with that, it makes for interesting goalie assignments. I say Korpi in net v. Lightning and Sway in against the Panthers. Tampa will be livid in Bruin's confidence of taking 2 points out that we put in our BU into the game. I hope it gets into their heads and Korpi stones them!

So when the Leafs and the Bs play on the same night, I generally watch Steve Dangle after Low Qual……watching this episode glorifying Minten and then Dangle basically going off about the Bs and Minten again ….. chef's kiss 😂 Minten is for sure at the VERY least the Bruins 2C of the future

Bruins train keeps rollin concerns with centers injury’s of course . Hopefully will know more once we get to Florida need to hold the line and win at least one and go from there . Keep it going!
I think this is another perfect opportunity to call up Lysell or even try Locmelis. It'll only be 2 games, but its still 2 games to show them that they can compete at the NHL level and show improvement form past call ups. I'd rather have Steeves over Mikey Esyemont and then have Lysell or Locmelis with Poitras and Steeves. Esyemont have been too much of a defensive liability for me this season
Fun stat of the day: the Bruins are sitting in the last playoff spot in the East, but there are only 6 teams in the entire league with more standings points.

With respect to all-time winning percentage, not including the short NHL life of the Vegas Kaniggits, the Bruins are 2nd (you know who's first). The Flyers are next in line. We'd like to keep it that way. : )
