It's about time that the league starts to recognize how high his hockey IQ is.
Not the fastest. Not the most skilled. Pure IQ.
not the best at anything but somehow, someway the sum of the parts is much much much less than the whole
This is actually great stuff! Very hockey insightful guys! Great breakdowns and talking though what the high end NHL players are seeing and looking for! Great stuff!
Yes Suzuki can do everything! You guys left out he’s never missed a game. Over 500 in a row… Makar was flat footed at the blueline because the puck hit the linesman.
That bg music is gawd awful. Good analysis on Suzuki.
A dependable ( never missed a game) deluxe swiss knife, big Nick energy is real
Bergevin's best trade was a trade where he did not want the player he got. Bergie wanted Cody Glass but had to settle for Suzuki.
And he is NEVER injured! He has the second longest streak in the whole league. I was a doubter in his first 2 – 3 years, effort seemed minimal, but this is his way of playing, never waste energy when you don't have to. We must put him in the conversation for the best two-way forward with Barkov.
when i said he will be a superstar back in his first year people laughed at me. Now he is an easy PPG player and on team Canada. Anyone still wants to doubt this genius on the ice ?
He's everything Toronto wished it had in a captain.
"One of the top ten worst contracts in the NHL." – some clown a couple years ago 🤣🤣🤣
Man it sucks the nhl is finally noticing 😅
Suzie is an absolute beauty 👍
He's been playing the PK to get ready for the Olympics.
I saw him play junior in the OHL. Most mature player on the ice, his anticipation and positional play was way ahead of anyone else.
Suzuki is playing injured this season he his not at his best but still playing elite
what is that guy..?/ 15
Remember when everyone was saying hes not a #1 Center in this league… well i beg to differ my friends! Go Habs Go!
Hopefully Suzuki who is entering his prime will have atleast 5-8 good years of prime playing.
Everyone keeps comparing him to Bergeron.
But with those Nordiques sweaters in mind…. I wonder if the better comparison (or at least: another comparison) could be Sakic?
It's been so fun watching his progression since he entered the league, can't wait to watch him on Team Canada in a couple of days 🥅
Slick Nick
