We need to NOT trade with the Rangers. Nobody on that team can help us for what we'd give up.
It's important to remember the Rangers are retooling, not rebuilding, based on Drury's letter to the fans. There is a fair shot they want an established roster player as a deal centerpiece that is supplemented by prospects and/or picks. That means Hartman or Brodin could potentially be dealt instead.
