Treliving should go and take Berube with him. They need a no nonsense GM that hates the current teams make up. Matthews has done nothing in the playoffs or any other must win game. He simply is not a pressure player. Continuing to build a team around him is suicide. He is not a leader. He has zero heart. Zero will to win and he can't drive a line. Matthews,..list goes on and on …all top players kept by their team…watch Rangers fall right off the board….management is sickening…trade everybody……and get a 5th rounder
Panarin is 34 years old and he`s declining. He has never had a good playoff performance. I really don`t know exactly why a team would want him for more than a rental. Any NHL team that gives him a deal with term will regret it very soon.
I like this trend of the Rangers and Islanders as trade partners, but I'm not sure what the Isles could offer. Maybe Ondrej Palat and a third round pick?

Man, these guys are boring. NHL should bring Charles Barkley over. He finds NHL interesting. He would spice things up dramatically in a second.
