MSL should have taken the fall. This team should make the playoffs! Poor lineup decisions will be MSL’s fall. He’s a lover of the small underdog and the Quebec goalie, Dobby is 16-5 play him! Monty is the best backup in the league
This was a great move. There was a reason why Monty's game recovered a little after a short stint in Laval and unraveled as soon as he got back to Montreal. This move was just as critical as any of the other brilliant trades and signings that this front office has made. Well done!
This game means a lot
Our last home game, and Dobes in net after one of his best games of the season. I think he looked as sharp as ever. It was a team win, and yeah. So Colorado beat us 7-2 the last time we played, and Dobes was in net for all 7. It was back to back so they didn't pull him. But first time he played Colorado he won 2-1 in a shoot out. So, we will see
Olympics = no hockey for nearly one month
I'd be happy if Caufield keeps playing a complete game and finishes with 45 goals. 37 to 50 goals in one year is a big jump.
How many players have been injured due to the compressed schedule??
Trade Monty for mabe a 2ed round pick should have done at the beginning of the year and got a first round pick
I hope Suzuki gets his scoring back. It would be nice if he can get to the mid-20s for goals. How long has it been since Montreal had 4 players with 20+ goals? (Caufield, Suzuki, Slaf, and Kapanen)
Good idea to change goalie coaches. I just hope it doesn't mean Montembeault will see more games. As long as Dobes maintains his present win/loss record we will be fine.
Fowler is a small goalie. I really hope he can tweak Dobes because 6’4” that is a great size for a goalie
I dont see the game against Colorado being a good one. Colorado has been in a funk and McKinnon has slowed from his torrid pace lately as well.
Of course, I think montreal can pull it off. Colorado is a top team for a reason though. Good test.
Dobès has been excellent in his last game. If the new trainer can help him keep his confidence high, he should be fine. As for Monty, I suspect he hasn't fully recovered from his last playoffs injury. I doubt anyone can help him to bounce back if he's not in top shape.

You do not forget how to tend goal in one season. Monty was key to us making the playoffs last year. His style changed this year and that is due to the GT coach. Great move! Keep the faith and Go Habs Go!
