Yes, this is a freeing cap space move.
I hope they don' t use it to get I don't know which player to try to get to postseason. Clearly, the Devils are no contenders. As hard as it is, we have to accept this fact.
Imo the team should prepare the future, and forget any ambition this season. We should be seller, more than buyer, but most of all we should try and get rid of all the bad contracts: Markstrom, Hamilton, Luke Hughes
