Dobes was praised during the game and after the game but I watched the game he had a VERY easy night .IMO Dobes was at his worst for just skating on his knees all game I wonder why he even wears skates.As for the rest MTL played ok but still looked awful in their own end because nobody can check 1 on 1 but offensively MTL players are easily knocked off the puck.
What was frustrating was watching how the Habs constantly try and send everything to Caufield 5 guys in a row might have a great shot but nope keep passing around until you get Caufield his shot.They are playing a low % very predictable game /PP.
These are NHL players they all should be able to shoot the puck this team needs to quit over playing to Caufield.
What did surprise me was Evans game winner none of that over passing he put his head down and went for it.Now I woudldgive him 5/5 if he finished it with the puck upstairs but no seems most NHL players don't have the scoring IQ but hey he finished it for the game winner good job.

Dobes style of play reminds me of grant Fuhr. He finds a way to win low or high scoring games. You can't look at his statistics except for wins versus losses.

Passing is no bueno which is surprising because they do it a lot, still not shooting enough and Marty finally yelled at them to shoot the puck in the 3rd, Why the Habs feel the need to dump the puck in every single play is mind boggling. We dont have enough physicality to be dumping and chasing in corners every single time. We lose a majority of the battles anyway or we do win it and just give it away right after. Slaf needs serious balance training, he looks like Bambi on ice out there, Always stumbling around or tripping or half way about to fall over. Jake Evans had a case of the butter fingers and dropped his stick 3 times. Overall pretty horrible game and got a few lucky goals. Dobes literally won the game.
