Hope they give Geekie a nice gift, at season's end, for his underpriced performance this year.
The fact that Sweeney did this to the Leafs makes it even sweeter. The other thing is Fraser putting these numbers up in a very defensive role.

So if the Leafs end in lets say 7th overall but they win the lottery would they get to keep the pick? Or is it only top 5 protected if they actually finish in the bottom 5 teams before the lottery?

I would be happy just as long as Toronto stays somewhere in the top 15 which means the Bruins would still be in the lottery for that pick also! You never know?
question – what happens if the leafs end up 6th and Ottawa is 5th in the draft but they’re forfeiting their pick. does that still go to the bruins?
We have to be concerned too about how the draft lottery balls fall.
Still think Carlo fills the biggest hole on this team. Love to swing a deal to get him back.
