The sens aren't 10 points back. They have to top that team to get in, therefore they are 11 point back.
We should do what’s best for the team long term, if there’s a deal to be had, and it benefits the team, we should do it, not throwing in the towel but we have to look ahead and do what’s best considering the lack of depth and the lack of draft choices….. New goalie coach……
Lol luckiest team in the NHL. They're one of the few teams with as much goaltending problems as Ottawa yet have managed to be 10 pts up.
couldnt agree less regarding ullmark. if he is fit, he has to play whatever happens. nothing worse for someone coming back from a mental health prob is to give him the softest path possible. wont help at all. put him in, if he fails or suffers a setback, mental coaching hasnt worked. if it works, even in a massive loss, it shows, the mental work with him was successful.
Finally the out of town scoreboard support. And the leafs lost!!! We can tie them tonight with a win, c'mon!
Ross this may make you feel better. I'm actually more positive this week than I've been in a month. That game against Vegas really looked good. A positive goalie result from a second goalie other than Reimer is really big. And Ullmark is almost back. Finally we have goalie options again. The thing is, this tram COULD fight back but we've needed goalie options to do it. We may have got that JUST in the nick of time, so, let's see how these next 5 games go. These are meaningful games were gonna see what this captain is made of here. Is he going to push? Or will he focus on the Olympics. That's what we need to be watching for. But I'm hopeful right now. I want Brady to convince me.
I suffer from mental illness issues and baby steps are how you return to work. (I've done it). This isn't a physical injury. Greener is right, he'll start when he's ready. I really don't think the Avalanche is the team to return to
It doesn't matter how many or who is between Ottawa and WC. All that matters is who's in the WC and what number their points are at. Sens just need to focus on their own games In divisional matchups.
Ivan needs to change his name to Clutch Demidov. It's crazy how many late clawbacks he had a direct hand in. Insane that he fell all the way to Montreal that draft.
Sens don't seem to have that clutch kind of guy when it comes to the last few minutes of regulation and needing a goal.
I'm feeling good about this game. The Avs have been looking very beatable in 2026. Being that far ahead they're bound to let up off the pedal. And if the Sens can get a win tonight I believe they'll get on a real run afterwards.

You're healthy enough for the bench but not the game? I respect anyone going through mental health struggles but I don't understand the half in half out approach.
I agree with Pillzy on this one regarding the goalie situation. Putting Reimer in and benching Ullmark would be the best option given Ullmark's leave of absence for mental health reasons you want to make sure the next game he's starting he's comfortable and ready to go. Throwing him to the wolves against Colorado and he ends up getting scored on a bunch will just totally ruin his confidence especially coming off something that's mental health related
the Sens have had very few winning streaks this year and now is the perfect time to do so. Not only is it required to maintain ANY hope of making the playoffs, but it will restore confidence which this team has been struggling with pretty much the whole season. GSG!
